Job Overview And Responsibilities

Network Planning and Scheduling is responsible for determining the routes, aircraft types, and timings of one of the largest and fastest-growing networks in the world. Associate Analysts are responsible for evaluating aircraft within the United Airlines network and making adjustments to optimize aircraft schedules with consideration to operational criteria.

  • Assist with the development of aircraft schedules that meet operational criteria considering items such as aircraft flows, turn times, equipment type compatibility, gating constraints, crew availability, and other parameters
  • Assist with the analysis of network and fleeting constraints to determine long-term fleet strategy
  • Work cross functionally with commercial and operating groups to ensure viability of network plans
  • Analyze fleet deployment to maximize revenue and minimize costs
  • Perform ad-hoc analyses on the profitability of United Airlines route network and fleet

NOTE:

This position provides a hybrid work arrangement including working onsite at our Chicago office location approximately 50% of the time and remotely.

Qualifications What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications)
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 0-1 years professional analytical work experience
  • Complex problem solving through independent critical thinking skills
  • Quantitative analysis skills
  • Microsoft Office proficiency
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
  • Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

The base pay range for this role is $53,960.00 to $70,334.00.

The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, factors such as experience, education, and skills. This position is also eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.
