Job Title:

CDL Driver - Truck Treating Department:
Operations Remote Status:
Onsite, must live locally after hire. We do not offer rotational schedules, company housing, or relocation assistance.

Schedule:

5 days on/2 days off. Mon-Fri, with the occasional weekend due to weather delays, customer requests, etc. Daytime hours.

FLSA Status:
Non-Exempt, Hourly. "Home every night". Overtime is available and expected.

Quarterly BONUSES Earn up to $100,000 per year Benefits (begin on the first of the month after start date)

Job Summary

Providing chemical treatments to oil wells according to customer specifications and company processes. Maintenance and safe operations of vehicles used to deliver chemicals to customers and warehouse.

Essential Duties – other duties as assigned
  • Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections of company vehicle and equipment
  • Properly load trucks
  • Deliver chemicals and treat wells in a timely manner, as scheduled
  • Treat wells to prevent corrosion, scale build up, etc.
  • Timely completion of treatment reports (electronic format)
  • Maintain driver’s logs, according to DOT regulations
  • Work well independently and as a team
Qualifications

Education/

Experience:

High school graduate or GED. 1-3 years in oil and gas industry preferred.

Certifications/Licenses: Class A CDL with Hazmat Endorsement preferred, Class B CDL with Hazmat Endorsement required.

Driving Requirements: Follow all FMCSA and DOT regulations.

Physical Requirements
– Lift and carry up to 100 pounds, tip and move 55-gallon drums, weighing up to 600 pounds with the use of equipment. Must be able to reach, push, pull, and grasp with arms and hands. Will require daily climbing, standing, crouching and/or kneeling, sitting, walking, driving and transitioning in/out of vehicles. Must be able to talk, hear and feel attributes of objects or temperatures by touching with the skin.

Required to have the visual acuity to safely and legally operate motor vehicles and/or heavy equipment.

Work Environment
– Indoors and outdoors, with exposure to environmental conditions such as extreme weather, precipitation and wind. Includes potential exposure to harmful chemicals, dust, odors, fumes, oil and gases. Employee will be subject to road conditions found throughout the basin(s). Noise level is typically moderate, occasionally loud.

Language

Skills:

Ability to read, interpret and understand documents such as safety rules, safety data sheets (SDS’s), operating instructions and procedure manual. English language fluency in reading, writing and speaking. Bi-lingual is beneficial.
