CDL-A Truck Driver Linehaul

Overview

R+L Carriers has immediate opportunities for Class A Linehaul Drivers at our Chicago, IL Service Center. As a Linehaul Driver, you will be tasked with pulling van trailers up to 53’ or double trailers between our service centers and/or turn-point locations, and returning home daily.

Class A Linehaul Truck Drivers, Earn up to $95,000 yearly (76 C.P.M.)

Third Shift, Tues-Sat, Shift Start 11:30pm-12am (8-10 hours daily)

Our drivers are home every day!

Paid Sick Leave available after the first 30 calendar days of employment.

Responsibilities detail is included in the overview description of the role: transporting van trailers (up to 53’ or double trailers) between service centers and/or turn-point locations and returning home daily.

• CDL Class A
• 1 yr. combined verifiable Class A driving experience within the past 3 years
• Good driving record / MVR and PSP, with no commercial serious violations and no more than 3 moving violations total within the past 3 years.
• Age 23, 21 if successfully met the FMCSA specs to transition from military to civilian CDL
• Must be able to operate equipment safely at all times
• Must be able to pass pre-employment DOT Physical and drug screen
• Must be able to complete a successful road test
• Must be able to bend, lift and stoop without difficulty
• Must be dependable

• Drivers with Doubles/Triples, Tanker, and Haz-mat CDL endorsements
• Experienced hauling Haz-mat
• Experienced pulling doubles
• Any LTL freight experience
