OTR CDL Class A Team Driver

Overview

DSL Express is now hiring OTR CDL Class A Team Drivers. Company drivers with 2+ yrs of experience and a decent MVR/PSP score. Position available ASAP.

Gross earnings between $117,600 to $145,600 per year per driver ($235,200 to $291,200 combined) - very good for family and married couples who work all year round.

Note:

Average salary is based on 4000 to 6000 miles a week running all year point to point. We generally do 5500 to 6000+ miles (even 7000 in a hot market) and almost never do 4000 unless the team is not wanting to drive that week.

• Up to 81 cents per mile plus bonuses. Depending on the EXP and MVRs of the team.
• Average miles are between 5500 and 7000 per wk depending on the season. Some do more.
• The average gross income is $4500 to $5600 per wk total. That’s $2250 to $2800 per week per team driver.
• Will consider changeover to the percent of linehaul if driver proves themselves.

• Average miles are between 2800 and 3600 per wk depending on the season.
• The average gross income is $1900 to $2550 per week per driver (for normal solo drivers).

• Must have Class A CDL. Additional endorsements are a bonus.
• Must have 2+ years CDL experience.
• Must have a clean MVR and reasonable PSP.
• Dry Vans or Refer work available.
• All No Touch Freight; some Drop and Hook.
• Unlimited miles within ELD compliance.
• Weekly pay with direct deposit.
• Up to 71 cents per mile for Solo/Single drivers; up to 81 cents per mile for Team drivers (depending on EXP and MVR).
• Monthly bonuses depend on safety, delivery, and communication; bonuses for DOT inspections.
• The average gross income for normal drivers is $1875 to $2625 per week; for teams, $4500 to $6000 per week total.

• Healthy, capable, and willing to work; driving is demanding.
• Minimum 2 years of driving experience.
• Valid CDL Class A with no pending suspensions.
• Ability to work with modern ELD systems.
• Must pass a drug test (no exceptions).
• Valid medical card.
• Stable work history and good references.
• No more than 3 moving violations/accidents in the last 3 years; no DWI/DUI/BAC in last 4 years; no reckless driving in last 3 years.
• No license suspension for points or unpaid tickets in last 3 years; no more than 2 moving violations in last year.
• Provide at least 3 years of work history; verifications of non-driving history for past 3 years may be performed.
• Previous employers and references must be verifiable.
