As a moving company captain, you will lead a team to deliver residential and commercial moving, hauling, and junk removal services while ensuring safety and 110% customer satisfaction.

• Deliver friendly, professional service—smile, eye contact, small talk—to every client.
• Present a polished image: tucked‑in shirt, straight hat, waist‑level pants, and a positive attitude.
• Educate clients on pricing, services, and benefits before providing an estimate.
• Maintain safety as a priority at all times.
• Perform daily truck inspections (tire pressure, oil, equipment, etc.).
• Ensure the truck contains receipts, safety equipment, and marketing material.
• Price jobs aggressively, meeting and surpassing benchmarks.
• Make logistical decisions (when to dispose, donate, recycle, load truck, market during downtime).
• Lead by example, reinforcing company core values.
• Help train new hires on day‑to‑day operations and values.
• Complete daily checklists.
• Avoid careless and costly mistakes—damage, injury, unhappy clients, lost equipment.
• Check in regularly with supervisor for additional assignments and troubleshooting.

• Able to lift 50 pounds with a team.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Valid/active driver’s license.
• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Drug and alcohol free.
• Pass a federal background check.
