We’re hiring a CDL-A Local Intermodal Truck Driver in Chicago for a home-daily role offering steady night-shift freight, predictable routes, and premium pay incentives. This position is ideal for drivers wanting consistent local miles and dependable intermodal work.

• Home Time:Daily — no overnights
• Schedule:Monday–Friday night shift (7 p.m. to 4 a.m.)
• Weekend Work:Optional — Saturday 12:01 a.m. through Monday 4 a.m.
• Freight Type:Intermodal | Drop & Hook | No Touch Freight
• Mileage:Average 1,800 miles per week

• Average Weekly Earnings: $1,200+ based on schedule and mileage
• Night Differential: +$0.06 per mile (Mon–Fri, 7 p.m.–4 a.m.)
• Weekend Differential: +$0.12 per mile (Sat–Mon, 12 a.m.–4 a.m.)
• Additional “Stop Pay” applies for routes with 3+ loaded miles

• Minimum Age: 21
• Valid Class A CDL
• Minimum 6 months tractor-trailer experience
• Must live within 25 miles of Chicago, IL
• Clean MVR with no serious violations in the last 3 years
• Experience with intermodal freight preferred (training available)
• Ability to work night shifts and weekends as scheduled

• Haul intermodal containers within the Chicago metro area and nearby states
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Drop and hook trailers safely and efficiently
• Maintain accurate ELD logs and delivery documentation
• Follow DOT safety regulations and company policies
• Communicate proactively with dispatch to ensure on-time deliveries
