Under the general direction of the Associate Athletic Director of Health, Wellness and Sport Performance, Head Team Physician, and Head Athletic Trainer, the Assistant Athletic Trainer is responsible for assisting in the overall care and management of all student‑athletes. Primary sport responsibilities are Men’s Soccer and another Olympic Sport. Licensure and CEU allotments will be provided.
Qualifications- 3+ years collegiate work experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic Training or related field
- Board of Certification in Athletic Training certification
- State of Illinois Athletic Training license (eligible or possessed)
- CPR / AED for the Professional Rescuer certification
- Computer skills:
Word, Excel, Outlook, and industry‑related software
Lifting, Carrying, Repetitive Motions
Working ConditionsLighting, Heating, Irregular Hours, Exposure to Inclement Weather
