Pickleball Instructor - McFetridge Sports Center

Legends Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for a Pickleball Instructor at the McFetridge Sports Center. The Pickleball Instructor is responsible for running open play sessions and drills/skills sessions at the McFetridge Sports Center.

Reports to the Tennis Coordinator.

• Instruct both group and private lessons with knowledge of basic pickleball skills and terminology.
• Utilize available pickleball equipment to maximize the development of basic pickleball strokes in small and large group lessons.
• Develop and grow the Pickleball program to meet the needs of the community.
• Notify the Tennis Coordinator of any equipment repairs needed and maintain courts.
• Provide a safe and fun environment that promotes enjoyment of the sport for exercise and fun.
• Attract players and help build the program.

• Maintain an overall positive attitude with clients, patrons, staff members, and management.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Punctual, reliable, and flexible with hours.
• Develop and teach lesson plans.
• Remain flexible and adjust to situations as they occur.
• Ability to maintain the program model that has been implemented.
• Ensuring and following safety measures and regulations.
• Physical ability to stand for 4-6 hours at a time while on the court.

$20.00 - $25.50

Applicant should have 2-5 years of previous pickleball instruction experience and the ability to teach fundamental pickleball skills to various skill levels. Applicants must be flexible with hours. PPR certification is required. Ability to run leagues and tournaments is preferred.
