** Soccer Instructor-- P/T Hourly

* REPORTS TO:

** Facilities Manager
** SUMMARY
* * Legends Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an immediate opening for a Soccer Instructor at the Com Ed Recreation Center. Under direct supervision, the Soccer Instructor develops class curriculums and provides soccer instruction to participants between the age group of 3-13 years old with parent participation.
** ESSENTIAL DUTIES
** Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
* Instructs scheduled classes, beginning and ending on time; provides adequate and effective lessons
* Prepares detailed lesson plans and activities
* Leads the instruction of soccer participants, according to the approved lesson plan, in a fun environment while teaching specific soccer techniques
* Ensures that the team has adequate equipment for practices and games including soccer balls, nets, cones, etc.
* Maintains a positive, safe, and nurturing environment for both participants, guests, and parents
* Ensures that safety standards are met, and department and facility policies are adhered
* Provides positive and professional communication with participants parents involved in program
* Ensures the safety of all participants during classes and performances, and report any problems, unsafe conditions, behavior issues and accidents to the management
* Helps players develop their skills through drills, scrimmages, and other exercises
* Maintains Class log and attendance
* Other related duties as assigned
** WORK HOURS
** Employee must be available to work weekdays in the evening(s) and on weekends in the morning(s).
** Weekends are required for this role.

Employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds, and occasionally must aide or assist participants. The employee must have the endurance to complete the instruction of the assigned fitness program.
** QUALIFICATIONS
* ** Minimum of one year teaching experience
* Experience working with students ages 1 – 5
* Minimum age of 18
* Early childhood experience not required, but preferred
* Ability to maintain a positive and SAFE environment for all students
* Be able to communicate with parents and guests
* Have a positive attitude and a willingness to learn
** Hourly Rate:** $19.00/hour
