• Design, develop, and maintain applications using Java, J2EE, SQL Server, Liferay Portal, DotCMS, ESB, JBSS, Spring, Hibernate, Node JS, Angular JS, and View JS.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement software solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal application performance.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to application development and changes.
  
  - Ensure best practices in software development are followed, including code quality and security.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from planning to deployment and maintenance.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
• Work remotely, or in Chicago, IL/Rockville, MD

• U.S. Citizenship
• Bachelor's degree
• Six years as a Java Developer, with a solid understanding of Java and related frameworks (e.g., Spring, Hibernate);
  JavaScript, RESTful APIs, Liferay Portal, DotCMS, ESB, JBOSS, Node JS, Angular JS, and View JS..
• A passion for problem-solving and a commitment to quality
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
