ESSENTIAL DUTIES- Manages and directs the work of Web Designers, Web Developers, and Mobile Developers engaged in designing the overall layout and aesthetic for websites, designing computer applications for web-enabled business systems, and creation of user-facing applications
- Sets goals and objectives for team members for achievement of operational results
- Completes performance appraisals for subordinate staff, administers disciplinary functions, and approves staff time off requests
- Plans, organizes, and controls resources, procedures, and protocols to bring about beneficial changes and/or added value to the City's website functionality
- Defines the scope of web development projects, advising on scope changes and quality assurance aspects of the project
- Provides technical and analytical guidance to the project team
- Coordinates teams, including vendors and contractors to create websites
- Reviews progress, manages resources, and ensures overall quality of completed website, ensuring website interfaces with existing software and systems

Days: Monday - Friday
Hours: 8:00 am - 4:00pm (flexible)
QualificationsFive (5) years of work experience in the design, development, and implementation of applications and websites, OR
Graduation from an accredited college with an Associate's degree, PLUS three (3) years of work experience in the design, development, and implementation of applications and websites, OR
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree or higher, PLUS one (1) year of work experience in the design, development, and implementation of applications and websites
