We are seeking an experienced Python Developer with AWS expertise to join our team in North Chicago, IL. The ideal candidate will have strong backend development experience using Python and hands‑on experience building, deploying, and maintaining applications on AWS cloud infrastructure. This role requires onsite collaboration with cross‑functional teams including Dev Ops, Data Engineering, and Business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable Python-based applications.
- Build and deploy cloud‑native applications using AWS services.
- Develop RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Work with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, Dynamo
DB, Cloud Watch, and IAM. - Implement CI/CD pipelines and support Dev Ops best practices.
- Write clean, reusable, and well‑documented code following coding standards.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
- Collaborate with QA, Dev Ops, and business teams for requirement gathering and delivery.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
Skills & Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in Python development.
- Strong experience with frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
- Hands‑on experience with AWS cloud services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, IAM, Cloud Formation).
- Experience building REST APIs and microservices.
- Good knowledge of SQL and No
SQL databases. - Experience with Git and version control systems.
- Familiarity with Docker and containerization.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and Dev Ops methodologies.
- Strong debugging and problem‑solving skills.
