Senior Java Developer

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Java Developer with strong expertise in Spring Boot, Microservices architecture, and Microsoft Azure. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable and high-performance backend systems. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of modern cloud-based architectures and a passion for clean code, Dev Ops practices, and agile methodologies.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable backend services using Java 17+, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud.
• Architect and implement Microservices-based solutions and ensure high availability and fault tolerance.
• Deploy and manage applications on Azure Cloud using services like App Services, AKS, Azure Functions, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Dev Ops, etc.
• Implement RESTful APIs, asynchronous messaging (Kafka/Rabbit
  
  MQ), and event-driven architectures.
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, and QA to deliver quality software following Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure Dev Ops or similar tools.
• Monitor applications in production using App Insights, Prometheus/Grafana, ELK Stack, etc.
• Mentor junior developers and lead code reviews.

• Experience in Java development with strong OOP concepts and design patterns.
• Expertise in Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Spring Security.
• Deep understanding of Microservices architecture and API Gateway concepts.
• Hands‑on experience with Azure Cloud Services, especially:
  • Azure App Services
  • Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
  • Azure Functions
  • Azure Cosmos DB / SQL / Blob Storage
  • Azure Dev Ops (Pipelines, Repos)
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerized deployments.
• Familiarity with messaging systems like Kafka, Rabbit
  
  MQ, or Azure Service Bus.
• Strong knowledge of SQL/No
  
  SQL databases (Postgre
  
  SQL, Mongo
  
  DB, Cosmos DB).
• Exposure to unit testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito) and code quality tools (Sonar Qube, Checkstyle).
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

• Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-204, AZ-400, AZ-305)
• Experience with Terraform, Helm, or other infrastructure‑as‑code tools
• Knowledge of CI/CD best practices
• Experience in performance tuning and security hardening

Experience:

8-10 Years.

The expected compensation for this role ranges from $80,000 to $158,000.

Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
