Senior Software Engineer

Job Description

Within engineering team, a senior software engineer will be leading various software development projects, working on design spec. and project schedule, and playing principal role in the software development process, and responsible to see through the project to be tested and released.

• Understanding and analyzing our e-commerce business requirements and turning them into engineering designs.
• Leading and coordinating other software engineers for the software projects, and be responsible for the project progress and project release deadlines.
• Developing software to implement our wide-range of business functionalities on the web, used by Iron Planet internal people as well as end users.
• Working with third party systems from our industry partners or customers, to integrate them with our web system and facilitate real-time data exchanges.
• Helping define testing spec. and facilitating the project testing and performance tuning.

  BS with minimum 8 years industry experience on software develop men

• s:
  
  Proven capability of managing software development projects and leading a small team of engineers for the entire cycle of the projects, from requirements gathering, to producing software specification, developing and testing software, until successful release of the project
• s.Thorough knowledge of full stack Java web application, hands-on experiences on Hibernate, Servlet, Angular, XML, HTML, CSS, Java Scrip
• t.Extensive working experience on Oracle database systems, with schema design, data model normalization and query optimization. Hands on experience of setting up and maintaining personal development database syste
• m.Demonstrated to be a quick learner, willing to meet the challenge and take on new technology, and deploy it onto our software system whenever it is necessar
