Java Developer

Genesis
10 is currently seeking a Java Developer with our client in the financial industry located in Chicago, IL. This is a 12 month contract position.

• Develop and maintain Java based microservices using Spring Boot
• Design, build, and secure REST APIs
• Integrate applications with an existing OAuth2 authentication system
• Apply secure coding practices and remediate vulnerabilities
• Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers
• Collaborate with architecture, Dev Ops, and security teams to build scalable, secure solutions
• Design and develop backend services while ensuring modern security best practices, including OAuth2, JWT, and Spring Security

• Senior level experience with Java and Spring Boot
• 8 years of Java experience
• Strong experience with Microservices and REST API development
• Working knowledge of OAuth2, JWT, and Spring Security
• Strong experience building secure, scalable microservices using Spring Boot, Java, and REST APIs
• Security experience, i.e. experience working with security protocols such as Oauth, JWT, Spring Security

• Financial services industry experience

$70.25 - $78.25
