Senior Software Engineer – Build the Future of Global Payments

We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help build the core infrastructure powering global payments. In this high-impact role, you’ll design and implement systems that process billions of dollars in transactions, working across payment orchestration, merchant APIs, and real-time settlement engines. Your work will ship to production quickly and directly impact the way money moves worldwide.

You’ll collaborate closely with Product to shape what we build and with fellow engineers on how we build it, taking significant ownership over the systems you create. This is an opportunity to solve complex, real-world challenges at the intersection of fintech, payments, and digital assets.

• Design and implement high-throughput, reliable payment processing systems.
• Build APIs and SDKs used by merchants around the world.
• Develop fraud detection and risk management features using real-time data.
• Architect systems for performance, scalability, and observability at scale.
• Optimize database queries, caching strategies, and service communication patterns.
• Ship end-to-end product features from design to deployment.
• Contribute to technical decisions, mentor peers, and shape engineering culture.

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in Type Script and Node.js;
  React experience is a plus.
• Deep understanding of REST API design, relational and document databases (especially Mongo
  
  DB), and distributed systems.
• Experience building systems with high transaction volumes or strict correctness requirements.
• Comfortable with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or similar) and containerized deployments.
• Track record of shipping and maintaining production systems.
• Clear communicator who can discuss technical tradeoffs with engineers and non-engineers alike.
• Bonus:
  Experience in payments, fintech, or blockchain/crypto.
