Senior Software Engineer - Global Network

Overview

Senior Software Engineer - Global Payment Network at Capital One. We are seeking a Software Engineer who is passionate about building and delivering in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and driving transformation in the payments space.

• Collaborate with Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support full-stack technical solutions
• Stay engaged with technology trends, experiment with and learn new technologies, participate in internal and external technology communities, and mentor other engineers
• Collaborate with digital product managers to deliver robust cloud-based solutions that empower customers at scale
• Utilize programming languages and technologies such as JavaScript, Java, HTML/CSS, Type Script, SQL, Python, Go;
  Open Source RDBMS and No
  
  SQL databases; containerization with Docker and Kubernetes; and AWS services

• Bachelor’s Degree
• At least 3 years of experience in software engineering (internship experience does not apply)

• 5+ years of experience in at least one of:
  JavaScript, Java, Type Script, SQL, Python, or Go
• 1+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or another cloud service
• 3+ years of experience in open source frameworks
• 2+ years of experience in Agile practices

The minimum and maximum full-time salaries are location-based; part-time roles are prorated. Salary ranges are provided for candidates hired in listed locations and may vary for other locations. This role is eligible for performance-based incentives, which may include cash bonuses and/or long-term incentives.
