Job DescriptionPosition:
- Design, develop and maintain mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms
- Build hybrid apps using Ionic and integrate with native functionalities
- Develop and optimize native iOS apps using Swift
- Collaborate with backend teams to integrate APIs and cloud services
- Implement AWS services such as Lambda and Cloud Formation for serverless architecture
- Ensure application performance quality and responsiveness
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices
- Proficiency in Ionic Framework and Angular 16
- Strong experience with Swift for iOS development
- Solid understanding of Android development principles
- Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda and Cloud Formation
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Minimum 3 years in mobile app development
- Experience in deploying apps to App Store and Google Play
- Thorough understanding of the responsibilities of the platform database API caching layer proxies and other web services used in the system
- Writing nonblocking code and resorting to advanced techniques such as multithreading when needed
- Knowledge of CICD pipelines for mobile apps
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and JSON
- Experience with performance optimization and security best practices
Works in the area of Software Engineering, which encompasses the development, maintenance and optimization of software solutions/applications. Applies scientific methods to analyse and solve software engineering problems. He/she is responsible for the development and application of software engineering practice and knowledge, in research, design, development and maintenance. His/her work requires the exercise of original thought and judgement and the ability to supervise the technical and administrative work of other software engineers.
The software engineer builds skills and expertise of his/her software engineering discipline to reach standard software engineer skills expectations for the applicable role, as defined in Professional Communities. The software engineer collaborates and acts as team player with other software engineers and stakeholders.
The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is USD 70000 to 96665 per year
