Java Developer (W2, On Site Chicago) - Java/React/AWS

We are looking for a Java Developer to join our team in Chicago. The role is W2 only, contract to hire, on site 5 days/week.

• Develop and maintain Java applications using Spring Boot.
• Build and consume REST APIs.
• Integrate front‑end components built with React/Angular.
• Deploy solutions to AWS.
• Apply best practices for performance, security, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and participate in code reviews.

• 5+ years of experience in Java development.
• Strong knowledge of Spring Boot and RESTful services.
• Experience with front‑end frameworks (React or Angular).
• Hands‑on experience with AWS services.
• Proficient in SQL and relational databases.
• Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.

• CI/CD pipeline experience.
• Kafka messaging.
• SQL expertise.

This is a contract to hire position based in Chicago, IL. Hybrid workplace type.

Pay range: $50.00 – $70.00/hr benefits include Medical, dental & vision, Critical Illness, Accident, Hospital, 401(k) retirement plan, Life Insurance, Disability, HSA, Transportation, EAP, PTO.
