BIDS Trading is an institutional network and broker/dealer that provides software to help asset managers trade large blocks of liquidity. Our flagship trading workstation, BIDS Trader, delivers block trading opportunities to hundreds of the world’s largest asset managers.

• Product Ownership:
  Take full ownership of the product roadmap for BIDS Trader, working closely with global business and technical teams to define and prioritize features.
• Customer Focus:
  Engage with custom‑facing teams, and directly with customers to understand their needs, gather feedback, and translate it into actionable product improvements.
• Data‑Driven Decision Making:
  Utilize data analytics to inform product decisions, measure performance, and optimize user experience.
• Collaborative Approach:
  Work with multiple engineering teams to deliver innovative solutions, and to respond to production problems.
• Technical Excellence:
  Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code. Perform code reviews and mentor junior engineers.
• Business Impact:
  Drive projects that significantly move the needle on key business metrics.

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong focus on product development and user experience (UX) design.
• Proficiency in modern browser‑based languages (e.g. Typescript), frameworks (e.g. React), and tools.
• Demonstrated experience in owning and driving product roadmaps, with a keen understanding of customer needs and industry trends.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to analyze data, identify patterns, and make informed decisions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
• Proven track record of leading projects and mentoring team members.

National new hire base pay range for this role: $165,750-$204,750. Geographic differentials: 110% for Austin TX, Chicago IL, Denver CO, San Diego CA; 115% for Los Angeles CA, Seattle WA; 120% for Boston MA, Washington DC; 125% for New York City NY; 130% for San Francisco CA.
