We’re supporting a leading global investment bank known for private market advisory work. Over the last few years, they’ve invested heavily in data quality to improve their market perspectives. This company is located downtown in Chicago and is in the office Monday through Thursday. They are entertaining candidates who are currently in the Chicago area.
This will be the first in-house Data Engineer to own and modernize their internal data ecosystem. It will be a lead principal role, setting the tone for best practices. You will work alongside Data Analysts to guide their migrations to MS Fabric and Databricks, shaping next‑gen data infrastructure. This role will have little to no hand‑holding, so it’s important that you can hit the ground running.
RequiredSkills & Experience
- 8+ years of professional Data Engineering experience
- Python and SQL Server
- Azure (Fabric)
- Data Warehousing
- Databricks
- Py Spark
- Financial data and private markets mindset
