Title: Regional Manager I
Location: USA
Schedule: Remote, Monday to Friday (8:30am‑5:00pm) with required travel across multiple states.
SummaryThe SAFEty Initiatives programs provide residential services for unaccompanied minors as well as Home Study and Post‑Release Services (HSPR) for children ranging from infants to seventeen years old who have entered the country without documents or parents. This position offers regional oversight, coordination, and consultation for both HHCS and the national network case management staff in an assigned region through coordination with ORR and GDIT, and supervision of home‑study recommendations and post‑release service provision.
Local and out‑of‑state travel for home visits and monitoring visits is required.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Supervise case management staff, including performance management and training, ensuring timely and high‑quality work.
- Coordinate case management services of the Home Study and Post Release teams in a designated region and train and supervise management staff.
- Make recommendations for hiring, promotions, terminations, and work assignments of case management staff.
- Collaborate with the Quality Assurance Specialist and Training Specialist to conduct annual monitoring of the national network, issue Corrective Action Plans, and provide technical assistance in line with child welfare standards and social work practices.
- Maintain a small caseload when required, involving local and out‑of‑state travel for home visits.
- Coordinate referrals and service planning in relevant areas.
- Ensure the implementation of organization, division, and program policies and procedures.
- Continuously assess changes in behavior and general conditions that could impact participant safety.
- Build and maintain relationships with community service providers across multiple states in the Central and Eastern US, monitoring their service provision per agreements.
- Conduct regular case management and staffing meetings.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure confidentiality of information related to cases.
- Track post‑release services, including measurable outcomes and rationale for service termination.
- Submit required reports and documentation promptly.
- Provide crisis intervention when necessary, including involvement of Child Protective Services.
- Actively pursue professional development opportunities such as workshops and education programs.
- Participate in regular supervision meetings with the immediate supervisor.
- Home Study and Post Release Case Manager
- Master's degree in behavioral sciences, human services, or social services; OR
- Bachelor’s degree plus at least 3 years of progressive employment demonstrating supervisory and case management experience.
- Experience in family reunification, home assessment, or foster care/child welfare is preferred.
- Valid, good‑standing state driver’s license (or ability to obtain one within 15 days of employment).
- Fluency in a second language, including but not limited to Spanish, Arabic, and others.
- Read and interpret documents such as operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
- Write routine reports and correspondence.
- Speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
- Have dependable and timely transportation.
- Work comfortably with people of varying socioeconomic backgrounds.
