Electrician

Welsh Global Energy is expanding its EV charging operations across Chicago and the surrounding areas. We are seeking skilled electrical professionals who are ready to work in the fast-growing EV infrastructure space.

• Install residential and commercial EV charging stations (Level 2 and Level 3, where applicable)
• Perform panel evaluations and load calculations
• Run conduit, trench where necessary, pull wire, and terminate equipment
• Troubleshoot and service installed EV charging equipment
• Ensure compliance with NEC, local Chicago electrical codes, and safety standards
• Communicate professionally with homeowners, property managers, and commercial clients

• Licensed Electrician in the State of Illinois (Journeyman or equivalent experience)
• Experience with 240V/60A circuits and panel upgrades
• Strong understanding of NEC and local Chicago electrical code
• Ability to work independently in field environments
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

• ICC certification
• EVITP certification
• Experience working with permitting and inspections in Chicago
