Mobile HVAC Technician

Our client, Industrial Services provider is seeking a Mobile HVAC Technician to join their team. As a Mobile HVAC Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting Facility Operations. The ideal candidate will have strong problem‑solving skills, excellent communication, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Mobile HVAC Technician

Location: Chicago, IL

Pay Range: $38 - $43

• Assist with operational maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs on commercial and industrial building systems.
• Inspect, calibrate, maintain, and repair HVAC, electrical, lighting, fire safety, boilers, refrigeration units, and associated controls.
• Perform housekeeping tasks such as carpentry, plumbing, painting, and snow removal to ensure building infrastructure and grounds are well‑maintained.
• Utilize CMMS systems to document work performed, parts used, and equipment history accurately.
• Participate in safety training and adhere to OSHA, local, and company safety policies to maintain a safe work environment.

• 2–5 years of experience in general maintenance within a commercial or industrial setting.
• Proven mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
• Good computer skills, with familiarity in operating Building Management Systems preferred.
• Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and instructions effectively.
• Physical ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform activities such as standing, walking, climbing, and working in various environmental conditions.
