Job Summary
Under general supervision, this position is responsible for properly installing and inspecting tires on company tractors and trailers on customer sites and rail yards. The role may require working outdoors, in the elements, across multiple shifts—including nights and/or weekends—and overtime; full‑time attendance is required.
Key Responsibilities- Install and inspect tires on tractors and trailers using company guidelines; observe all company safety and OSHA requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Organize and maintain tire inventory for trucks.
- Ensure compliance with safety policies, including all safety and OSHA requirements while at a customer facility or rail yard.

Minimum Qualifications- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to work outdoors, in the elements, or across multiple shifts—including nights and/or weekends—if needed.
- Possess a valid driver’s license and ability to pass J.B. Hunt standards for operation of a company vehicle.
- Basic tools are required to successfully perform this role; these tools must be supplied by the employee in most locations. Employees without their own tools may obtain them through the toolbox purchase program.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent with 6 to 12 months of tire‑related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must possess a valid driver’s license and ability to pass J.B. Hunt standards for operation of a company vehicle.

The expected starting pay range for this position is between $21.64 - $27.71
.
Relocation assistance may be available for qualified candidates located outside a 50‑mile radius of the job.
This position is not eligible for employment‑based sponsorship.
Additional NoteApplicants can be considered for I, II, or Sr. Level Mobile Tire Technician depending on verified years of experience and position availability.
