As a Commercial HVAC Technician, you will perform maintenance, repairs, and equipment replacements for commercial HVAC, refrigeration, and ice machine systems. You will service Chicago’s iconic skyscrapers and tech hubs with a career‑first culture and a competitive, market‑leading compensation package.

• Perform maintenance, repairs, and equipment replacements for commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems
• Install and service HVAC systems and ice machines
• Conduct preventative maintenance and recommend repairs
• Troubleshoot and assess system issues
• Respond to emergency service calls
• Provide facility condition observations and recommendations
• Collaborate with dispatchers, coordinators, and supervisors
• Follow all safety protocols and complete documentation accurately
• Work independently while delivering excellent customer service

• Fully stocked service van
• Company‑issued iPad and iPhone
• Provided PPE

• EPA Certification
• 3‑6 years of experience in commercial HVAC and refrigeration
• Proficiency in servicing, installing, and troubleshooting:
• Commercial HVAC systems
• Refrigeration systems and ice machines
• Chillers, cooling towers, water source heat pumps
• HVAC Journeyman license (preferred)

• Climb ladders while carrying up to 30 lbs.
• Lift up to 75 lbs. and work in confined spaces
• Wear required PPE

• Willingness to work overtime and travel as needed
• Ability to meet security clearance requirements
• Pass drug, background, and driver’s license checks

• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Familiarity with light commercial equipment
• Experience with industry software (a plus)

• Hourly Rate: $30‑$42 per hour ($62,400‑$87,360 annually)
• On‑Call Pay: $150 per scheduled on‑call shift
• Paid Time Off: 48 hours (increases to 168 hours with tenure)
• Paid Holidays: 7 annually (New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas)
