Role SummaryWe are hiring a Service Manager to support and scale our Commercial HVAC operations. This is a senior, hands-on leadership role designed for an experienced commercial HVAC professional who can step in when situations get complex - supporting technicians in the field, visiting job sites, resolving issues in real time, and maintaining strong client relationships.
This is not a desk-only role. The ideal candidate is a seasoned commercial technician with leadership presence, strong communication skills, and the ability to lead calmly under pressure.
Who We’re Looking For- A senior commercial HVAC technician ready to move into (or already in) a leadership role
- A trusted technical escalation point and “go-to” resource
- Someone comfortable handling client communication and live field issues
- A mentor who enjoys developing and supporting technicians
- A steady leader who can balance technical expertise with people skills
- Act as the escalation point for complex service and installation challenges
- Visit job sites to support technicians and drive solutions
- Coordinate daily field operations, including scheduling, priorities, and job flow
- Bridge communication between technicians, clients, vendors, and office staff
- Oversee onboarding and documentation of HVAC systems for new accounts
- Ensure safety, quality, and efficiency standards are consistently met
- Support job costing, documentation, and operational tracking
- 10+ years of commercial HVAC experience
- Strong background with chillers, boilers, and commercial RTUs
- Prior leadership, senior technician, or supervisory experience
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and decision-making skills
- Comfortable using technology (mobile apps, photos/videos, documentation tools)
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Have served as the “go-to” technician on complex jobs
- Are confident stepping into live field situations
- Communicate clearly with both technicians and clients
- Lead with confidence, accountability, and no ego
