Responsibilities- Diagnose, disassemble, repair, and rebuild a variety of large pumps (horizontal and vertical).
- Interpret blueprints/schematics and construct the necessary foundations or fixtures for assembly/disassembly.
- Operate manual, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electric tools safely and effectively.
- Measure with M&TE (micrometers, calipers, etc.) and other gauges to verify tolerances.
- Work within precise limits and standards of accuracy.
- Use overhead cranes and forklifts to move and position heavy components.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 7+ years of hands-on experience as a pump mechanic or related rotating equipment role.
- Competency with hand tools (wrenches, impact guns) and powered equipment.
- Overhead crane and forklift operation experience.
- Ability to read/understand inspection tools and documentation.
- Strong verbal and written communication; manual dexterity and control precision.
- Critical thinking and deductive reasoning skills; ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Manual, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electric tools.
- Micrometers, gauges, and other inspection tooling.
- Fork trucks and overhead cranes.
The environmental characteristic for this position is an industrial setting with large machinery, overhead cranes, trucks and forklifts. Candidates should be able to adapt to a traditional warehouse environment. - Pay: $27.00 - $34.00 per hour, with a premium for 2nd shift based on skills and experience.
- Expected hours: 40 per week.
