Industrial Pump Overhaul Technician

• Diagnose, disassemble, repair, and rebuild a variety of large pumps (horizontal and vertical).
• Interpret blueprints/schematics and construct the necessary foundations or fixtures for assembly/disassembly.
• Operate manual, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electric tools safely and effectively.
• Measure with M&TE (micrometers, calipers, etc.) and other gauges to verify tolerances.
• Work within precise limits and standards of accuracy.
• Use overhead cranes and forklifts to move and position heavy components.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 7+ years of hands-on experience as a pump mechanic or related rotating equipment role.
• Competency with hand tools (wrenches, impact guns) and powered equipment.
• Overhead crane and forklift operation experience.
• Ability to read/understand inspection tools and documentation.
• Strong verbal and written communication; manual dexterity and control precision.
• Critical thinking and deductive reasoning skills; ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

The environmental characteristic for this position is an industrial setting with large machinery, overhead cranes, trucks and forklifts. Candidates should be able to adapt to a traditional warehouse environment. • Pay: $27.00 - $34.00 per hour, with a premium for 2nd shift based on skills and experience.
