Schedule: Sunday-Thursday, 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM and Sunday-Thursday, 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM

About the Mobile Diesel Mechanic/Technician Role

As a Mobile Diesel Mechanic/Technician, you ll be the expert our customers rely on to keep their fleets on the road. This field-based role is perfect for skilled technicians who enjoy independence and variety in their work. You ll perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers, including emergency roadside service when needed. You ll have your own fully equipped company service truck, top-tier tools, and a supportive team that values your skill, drive and dedication, delivering safe, reliable and efficient service that keeps America moving.

You ll Make an Impact
  • Perform onsite preventative maintenance, DOT inspections and follow-up repairs on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers in a mobile field environment.
  • Handle emergency road service calls with confidence and urgency.
  • Respond to dispatch requests for scheduled and unscheduled service or maintenance.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical, brake, cooling, and air systems — everything that keeps a fleet running strong.
  • Use advanced diagnostic tools, including handheld computers and precision instruments, to identify and fix issues fast.
  • Put your expertise to work using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to get the job done right.
  • Road test vehicles to ensure every repair meets top-quality standards.
  • Stay productive and efficient, meeting or beating industry-standard repair times.
  • Work with trusted vendors to source parts and keep operations moving.
  • Take ownership of a company-issued service truck, perform maintenance and pre- and post-trip inspections, and ensure safety compliance.
  • Jump in wherever needed — we re a team that supports each other.
What Makes You a Great Fit
  • At least 3 years of hands-on diesel tech experience working on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers.
  • DOT inspection and air brake repair expertise that keeps fleets rolling safely.
  • Strong communication skills — you know how to connect with customers and drivers alike.
  • Comfortable using mobile apps, navigation systems and digital tools to stay organized and document repairs.
  • Ready for the outdoors — rain or shine at customer yards.
  • Independent, dependable, and self-motivated — you take pride in getting the job done right.
  • A positive attitude and safety-first mindset.
  • Must be 23+ with a clean driving record and a valid driver s license.
  • Bring your own hand tools and we ll supply everything else.
