We have an immediate opening for an HVAC Service Technician. This position will work with residential homeowners for service, maintenance, and repairs.

Position: HVAC Service Technician

Benefits: Union Benefits

Pay: Union Scale

Schedule
  • Monday Through Friday
  • 7:00am to 4:00pm
  • Full-Time
  • Overtime available
What you will be doing
  • Dispatched to calls by our expert in-house dispatcher
  • Service / maintenance / repair on residential heating and air conditioning systems
  • Consult customers on repair or replacement options as needed
  • Educate customers on new technology and IAQ accessories
  • Provide the customer with a high‑quality experience
  • Test and balance systems
Required Qualifications
  • Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
  • 2 years of residential HVAC service experience or combination of education and experience
  • EPA Type 1 & 2 or EPA Universal Certification
  • Familiar with a wide range of equipment and troubleshooting techniques
  • Advanced customer service skills
  • Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and blueprints
  • Knowledge of air balancing principles and techniques
  • Ability to consult on customer complaints and give solutions that benefit both customers and company
  • Well organized and able to work independently
  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • Certificate of completion from an HVAC Technical School desired
  • High school diploma or equivalent
