Plumber

We're urgently seeking a Licensed Plumber to join our dynamic team! In this role, you'll focus on providing expert plumbing services and replacement installations, while also mentoring and guiding an apprentice plumber.

Position Title: Licensed Plumber

Work Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm (No nights or on-call required). Saturday work is available for those interested in earning overtime.

Compensation: $48.00 to $60.00 per hour, based on experience + monthly bonuses.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drain clearing, cleaning, rodding, and jetting
• Troubleshoot and repair issues with water heaters (gas, electric, tankless), sump pumps, ejector pumps, gas lines, bathroom fixtures, low water pressure, leaking faucets and pipes, burst pipes, garbage disposal units, and more
• Expertise in sewer line maintenance, backflow prevention, repairs, flooding issues, clearing clogs, and addressing backups
• Install and maintain fixtures and appliances as needed
• Execute pipe replacements with materials like galvanized steel, cast iron, copper, PVC, ABS, and PEX
• Lead sewer and drain line replacement projects
• Install and maintain sump pumps
• Perform sump pump backups
• Maintain positive customer relationships and reviews
• Work closely with an apprentice plumber or helper
• Collaborate with supervisors, peers, and other team members

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of plumbing field and installation experience
• State of Illinois or City of Chicago Journeyman License
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Ability to work well with an apprentice plumber/helper
