Overview
A leading international manufacturer of commercial printing presses is looking for an electrical field service engineer to travel around the United States and work on sheetfed press lines. You will be responsible for installations, preventative maintenance, and repairs of sheetfed printing lines. Expect over 50% travel regionally. Strong electrical skills and a solid understanding of PLCs are ideal. You should be able to handle mechanical and software installations.
Compensation includes a base salary ranging from $70k to $90k, with overtime opportunities. Expected total yearly compensation is $100k+ depending on performance and overtime. Excellent benefits include health insurance and a 401(k).
Responsibilities- Perform installations, preventative maintenance, and repairs on sheetfed printing lines.
- Travel across the United States, with more than 50% travel expected regionally.
- Apply strong electrical skills and PLC knowledge; handle mechanical and software installations as needed.
- Field service experience preferred, especially with conventional printing presses or sheetfed and/or web presses.
- Proficiency in electrical systems and PLCs; ability to conduct mechanical and software installations.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills; able to work independently while traveling.
