A Day in the Life of a Technician
At First Onsite, no two days look the same. One day you could be helping a business get back to work; the next, you’re tackling a major demolition project with your team. As a Technician, you’ll get hands‑on experience using a variety of tools and equipment while learning the ins and outs of emergency restoration and disaster recovery. Every project is unique— and you’ll have a supportive, skilled team right there with you to get the job done.
Safety is always first. You’ll follow proven safety programs and industry standards to keep yourself and your team protected. The work is fast‑paced, physically engaging, and incredibly rewarding—all while making a tangible difference for people and businesses in their time of need.
Responsibilities- Assist with water, fire, and mold mitigation, light demolition, and equipment setup
- Maintain clean, stocked, and response‑ready company vehicles
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a safe job site
- Support project documentation, photos, and daily reports
- Track expenses, time, and complete necessary work orders
- Perform physical labor, debris removal, and material handling
- Provide flexible support across multiple service lines
- Possess or be able to obtain Water Mitigation Certification within 1 year
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Restoration experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license required
