Field/Service Technician, Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
About the Role
Canon USA is seeking a Field Service Technician to deliver excellent customer experiences and efficient routine maintenance for Canon-supported products. The Technician will support service and parts standards while contributing to overall branch performance.
Responsibilities- Report product failure trends and serviceability issues with accurate documentation and record keeping.
- Provide efficient, responsive, and accurate on-site maintenance to meet customer demands.
- Maintain all technical information, Field Service Reports, Expense Reports, and Canon property assigned.
- Show strong customer communication and satisfaction skills.
- Maintain the performance of assigned machines and facilitate performance to help achieve branch/district metric targets.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Basic understanding of internet environments and ability to complete the 120‑day introductory period and PDIF new‑hire class.
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record; ability to travel.
- Required to obtain security and/or other clearances required by customers to enter premises.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds and be active more than 50% of the time (walking, standing, stooping/kneeling).
Hourly rate: $19.00 to $26.31. Transportation allowance eligible.
