If you thrive off of routine, structure and safety while working overnight and can work alone independently, this position may be the one for you. The Security Guard will be responsible to ensure access into the Club after‑hours is permitted to select vendors and employees after ensuring all other employees and members have exited for the evening. The Security Guard will follow strict nightly operating procedures to provide a secure building.

Pay rate: $19.00 per hour. This position is considered entry level.

Security Operations
  • Sign in/out employees, members and vendors.
  • Inspect bags of overnight cleaning staff prior to their Club departure.
  • Secure the premises upon Club close, monitor the facility and prepare for Club opening at end of shift.
  • Perform security check of all emergency exit doors after Club close and ensure only authorized personnel are inside the building during non‑operating hours.
  • Facility security walk‑through: interior and exterior to include all stairwells, hallways, garages, overall Club (excludes storage areas, mechanical rooms, offices).
  • Securing and opening the garage door at the north end of the underground parking area per schedule provided.
  • Handle any escalated security issues or emergency situations appropriately.
  • Support HR department in review of involuntary terminations and potential problem employees.
  • Random video surveillance to monitor daily activities and ensure no threats within our daily routines.
  • Submission of nightly Leader Log for executive communication flow which documents any out of the ordinary instances, including all member late Club exits (exceeding 15 minutes after Club closing time).
  • Thorough knowledge of all operating systems pertinent to providing security to the Club, employees and members.
  • Ensure company equipment is utilized in accordance with Club standards and expectations.
  • Monitor and assist overnight cleaning contractor organization and assignments.
  • Check in and monitor any after‑hours contractors and associated labor.
  • Other tasks as assigned by Manager.

Requirements
  • Standing, walking and sitting for sustained periods of time.
  • Frequent lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Frequent ability to stoop, kneel and crouch.
Qualifications
  • Working knowledge and experience of security services and operational functions preferred.
  • Ability to work alone independently with no supervision.
  • Exceptional organizational, written and oral communication skills.
  • Strategic thinker; ability to analyze and solve issues quickly.

    Must have the ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

May not possess any security related tools or implements not provided by the Club.
