Position: Security Officer - Flex - Logistics & Distribution
Allied Universal -  - Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to staff, drivers, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.;
Screen employees, contractors, and visitors entering and exiting the facility by verifying identification, checking authorization lists, and monitoring access points in accordance with site instructions.;
Inspect inbound and outbound packages, parcels, and shipments as assigned by using approved screening methods and documenting exceptions according to site policy.;
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting hazards, policy violations, and/or suspicious activity through the established notification chain.;
Conduct regular and random patrols around the building, dock areas, trailer yards, and perimeter, with working environments and conditions that may vary by site and shift.
