Security Officer - Unarmed - Campus

Allied Universal -  - Responsibilities:
Provide customer service by carrying out Allied Universal and site-specific security-related procedures, access control practices, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an academic location.;
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and notifying appropriate campus contacts and/or emergency services as directed.;
Conduct regular and random patrols of campus buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards, suspicious behavior, and/or policy violations.;
Monitor alarms, cameras, and other security-related systems when assigned, and communicate timely updates via radio and/or phone to on-site personnel and Allied Universal supervision.;
Assist students, staff, faculty, and visitors with directions, escorts when requested and authorized, and customer service requests while maintaining a professional presence and following post orders.
