Security Officer - Unarmed Perimeter Rounds

Allied Universal -  - Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location;
Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate medical staff, facility management, and/or public emergency services as needed;
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of corridors, waiting areas, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations;
Monitor access points and visitor flow, verifying identification and/or authorization when required, and directing individuals to appropriate check-in and service areas per site procedures;
Document security-related activities, incidents, and observations in written and/or electronic reports, and communicate relevant information during shift briefings and post handoffs
