As an unarmed patrol officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will greet staff, patients, and visitors with professional customer service, communicate clearly, and document observations while supporting site procedures.

** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a healthcare location.

+ Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential policy violations.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with de-escalation, notifications, and coordination with site leadership and/or public responders as directed.

+ Monitor access points and controlled areas, assist with visitor direction and/or check-in processes as assigned, and report suspicious or unusual conditions to the appropriate parties.

+ Complete accurate documentation such as daily activity logs and incident reports, and communicate relevant information during shift transitions.

* + Possess an EMT Certification.

+ Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.

+ Be at least 21 years of age.

+ Possess a guard card or license preferred.

+ Possess CPR Certification preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
