** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to staff, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and/or petrochemical location.

+ Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, tank farm perimeters, and parking areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify hazards such as leaks, spills, and equipment concerns, and report findings per post orders.

+ Monitor access control points by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, managing vehicle and pedestrian entry and/or exit, and directing individuals to designated check-in and staging areas in accordance with site requirements.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, medical events, fire indications, and/or process upsets, and coordinate notifications to site contacts and public responders as directed.

+ Complete timely documentation including daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol logs, and communicate relevant observations to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives during shift change.

* + Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
