Security Officer - Unarmed - College Site

Allied Universal -  - Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities;
Conduct regular and random patrols of academic buildings, common areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards, maintenance issues, and policy concerns;
Monitor access points and interior areas, assist with visitor directions and way finding, and support campus operations by reporting unusual activity through established channels;
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with evacuations and coordinating with campus stakeholders and/or public responders as needed;
Document patrols, incidents, and observations in written reports and/or electronic systems, and communicate relevant information to on-site leadership for follow-up
