Monday-Friday 10:30am-5:30pm & Saturday 3:30am-5:30pm
Pay Rate: $17.10 per hour
Job Summary:
We are seeking a professional and dependable Unarmed Security Officer to support a healthcare facility with consistent, high-quality security services. The ideal candidate will maintain a safe environment for staff, patients, and visitors while representing the company with integrity, professionalism, and strong customer service skills. Early-morning availability and stamina for extended shifts are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
* Monitor entry points and ensure only authorized individuals access the facility
* Provide a visible security presence to deter unauthorized activity
* Conduct routine patrols of interior and exterior areas
* Assist staff, visitors, and patients with directions, escorts, and general support
* Respond promptly to incidents or disturbances and follow proper reporting protocols
* Complete detailed daily activity reports and incident documentation
* Observe and communicate safety hazards or maintenance concerns
* Collaborate with facility staff and security leadership to maintain a secure environment
* Remain alert, calm, and professional in high-stress situations
Required Qualifications:
* Valid PERC card
* 20-hour Unarmed Security Training Certificate
* Previous security experience
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Strong observational abilities and attention to detail
* Professional appearance and conduct at all times
* Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods
* Reliable transportation and consistent punctuality
Preferred Qualifications (Not Required):
* Experience working in healthcare, customer-focused, or high-traffic environments
* CPR/First Aid certification
* Conflict de-escalation training
