Primary Purpose
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION:
Engage in job duties below to reduce risk exposure in cyber and physical security; promote safeguarding people, property, reputation and shareholder value. Provide secure tactical driving services for Exelon executives with 24/7 availability. Conduct counter-surveillance for select Exelon executives. Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all corporate matters, especially executive conversations and communications. Provide security/protective services for events involving Exelon executives and ensure a smooth transition between venues.
Conduct dignitary advances, security assessments and investigations as needed. Interface with federal, state and local law enforcement, executive protection professionals in other organizations, and vendors providing executive protection services. Plan and provide protection for international travel. Provide residential vulnerability assessment services, including coordinating security system installations and upgrades for select executives. Conduct independent, complex, confidential investigations and determine actions to obtain desired investigative results, recommending improvements to internal controls and policy/procedural deficiencies.
Plan, organize, and conduct investigations of alleged violations of law or the Company s Code of Business Conduct. Conduct interviews, document investigations, handle evidence, and liaise with internal and external resources to achieve favorable results supporting Exelon s business units. Provide controls and risk mitigation recommendations to management and prepare clear investigative reports. Engage regulators and councils on critical infrastructure.
Act as a liaison to law enforcement networks.

- Provide secure tactical driving services for Exelon executives with 24/7 availability. Conduct counter-surveillance on selected executives for Corporate Security. Maintain the highest level of confidentiality and discretion regarding all corporate matters, especially executive conversations and communications.
- Provide support for Corporate Security functions and activities (e.g., Annual Shareholder Meeting, tabletop exercises, Executive Protection, Crisis Management and Business Continuity Planning).
- Conduct complex and confidential internal/external investigations for the Corporation. Identify internal controls issues and work with business unit management toward corrective action; input investigative incidents and results into the security case management system.
- Establish and maintain federal, state, county and local law enforcement contacts and relationships.
- Assist in supporting security for campuses through employee awareness campaigns.
- Provide driving and protective services (including personal protection, residential security, travel security and special event security) for senior management.
- Interact with all levels of employees, including senior executives and corresponding outside parties.
- Conduct investigations to support or refute allegations, with an emphasis on independent and impartial fact finding, and investigate any actions in violation of the Company s Code of Business Conduct.
- Mitigate threats to the Company s people, infrastructure, and assets by responding to emerging security issues potentially impacting Exelon Corporation.
- Work under minimal supervision.
- Bachelor s degree
- 10 years of law enforcement experience with a medium to large agency or the equivalent combination of law enforcement/private investigative experience
- In lieu of degree, a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience is required
- Ability to obtain Conceal Carry Permits and related certifications for applicable states, as necessary to carry concealed firearm when providing protection for employees
- Ability to pass psychological assessment and annual wellness checks
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Knowledge of PC/desktop workstation applications:
Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook - 24/7 availability
