As a Security Officer - Retail Patrol Specialist in Chicago, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Security Professional with Allied Universal at a retail or mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security‑related incidents while remaining visible to the public. You will interact with guests, provide exceptional customer service, and uphold a welcoming environment.

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security‑related procedures and site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, responding to emergency situations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall location, including the business interior and perimeter areas.
• Observe for and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance issues within the location.
• Assist with access control and help to deter unauthorized entry or prohibited activities within the premises.
• Communicate and collaborate with Allied Universal management, client representatives, and local law enforcement as needed.
• Document and report incidents, observations, and any unusual circumstances according to post orders and company protocols.
