Position OverviewWe are seeking a Part-Time Residential Floater Security Officer to join our team and ensure the safety and security of multiple residential properties in Chicago, IL
. This position requires a flexible schedule with availability on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
, with shifts varying across those days. The ideal candidate will have experience working as a floater
, flex
, or patrol security officer in a residential setting.
As a Residential Floater, you will be responsible for providing security services across different properties as needed, monitoring access points, and ensuring the safety of residents while offering exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities- Provide security coverage across multiple residential properties as needed, ensuring safety and compliance with property rules.
- Monitor and secure access points to ensure only authorized individuals are allowed entry.
- Provide concierge-level service and assist residents with inquiries or concerns as needed.
- Write detailed reports on daily activities, incidents, or any unusual occurrences.
- Respond to emergencies and incidents in a timely and effective manner.
- Maintain professionalism in all interactions with residents, guests, and staff.
- Active Illinois PERC Guard Card is required.
- 20-Hour Unarmed Security Certificate is required.
- Previous security experience as a floater
, flex
, or patrol officer is required. - Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
. - Strong sense of professionalism, with excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to handle stressful situations with calmness and efficiency.
- Flexible and adaptable to varying shifts and property locations.
