Job Overview:
Sky Tech Security is currently hiring
Special Response Unit Officers (SROs)to join our team on a part-time basis. This position is ideal for security professionals who are available immediately and can provide reliable coverage across various client locations during the work week.

SROs are required to work a minimum of three (3) days per week, Monday through Friday.
This schedule includes:

• Two mandatory days each week
  , during which officers must report to an assigned location at a specific time.
• One additional mandatory day per week
  , bring the total to three (3) mandatory days per week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Secure premises and personnel by patrolling property, monitoring surveillance equipment, inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points, and permitting entry.
• Prevent losses and damage by identifying irregularities and reporting them.
• Inform violators of security policies and procedures.
• Complete reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; conduct witness interviews and obtain signatures as needed.
• Monitor and maintain the security environment by setting and controlling building and equipment functions.
• Ensure the organization’s reputation and stability by adhering to legal requirements.
• Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as necessary.

Requirements:

• Must be
  21 years of age or older
  .
• Reliable transportation
  is required for this position.
• Must be available to
  work an additional 16 hours per week
  .
• Must hold a valid
  PERC card
  and have completed a
  20-hour security training certificate.
• Must be COVID-19 vaccinated.
• High School Diploma
  , GED, or transcripts are required.
• Must have a valid
  State of Illinois State  Driver’s License.
• A stable and consistent work history, with at least6 months of recent experience in security.
• Ability to
  stand and walk for long periods.
