Job Description

Salary: $97,000 / year with benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401k, and life insurance.

Candidates MUST have:

  • 2+ years of armed security experience OR 1+ years as a full police officer with a municipality OR 2+ years of service in a U.S. Armed Forces component with an honorable discharge.

The Training and Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for ensuring compliance with all required portfolio training, as well as Allied Universal standards and reports directly to the CE Regional Training Director.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with all required portfolio training, coordinating training classes with the Portfolio Vice President, Area Directors, Regional Training Director, and Regional Trainers.
  • Manage the entire portfolio Taser program, encompassing training compliance, inventory management, and conducting semi-annual audits; manage customer’s  account where applicable.
  • Serve as a backup trainer in the absence of a regional trainer.
  • Work with operational partners to develop practical training programs at the client and branch level, ensuring compliance with contractual and regulatory mandated training.
  • Identify, vet, and establish relationships with local training academies/facilities/3rd party vendors to provide external training opportunities and/or remote locations.
  • Communicate with stakeholders (Regional Training Director, Portfolio operations, Security Professionals, Supervisors, Field and Corporate Training, and Clients).
  • Deliver field training programs in accordance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations, as well as Allied Universal standards, supporting Regional Trainers.
  • Conduct Mobility Devices (e.g., vehicles, Trikke, golf cart) training.
  • Conduct field training & "red team" exercises for Security Professionals and Supervisors.
  • Conduct special projects on an as‑needed basis to support the assigned portfolio.
Qualifications (must Have)
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Pass any state‑required training or other qualifications for licensing as required, including:
    • CPR/First Aid/AED Certified Instructor.
    • Instructor certifications in supplement training areas as required by local office (e.g., OC Spray, Baton Techniques, Handcuffing, Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI), Defensive Tactics, Taser certification, Practical Driver Training Courses, or any client‑specific training).
  • Must have a valid driver’s license or be able to pass a state licensing test if driving a company‑owned or client‑provided vehicle.
  • Must be certified to teach all required trainings for the portfolio, including firearms where applicable.
  • Minimum of two years of classroom instructor experience.
  • Ability to work independently with little to no direct supervision.
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills; ability to interact at all levels of the organization, including with clients.
  • Ability to write manuals, review and respond to written requests for proposals, training documents, and prepare extensive presentations.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft programs (Word, PowerPoint) and office management technology.
  • Demonstrated initiative, ability to prioritize multiple assignments, and manage deadlines.
  • Professional, articulate, and able to use independent judgment and discretion.
Preferred Qualifications (nice to have)
  • NRA Law Enforcement Instructor certification, or ability to meet all NRA Law Enforcement eligibility requirements.
  • College coursework in Education, Business, Criminal Justice, Human Resources, Security Management, or related field.
