Senior Flavor Beverage Applications Scientist

Novaris Search are working with a leading playing in the Flavor and Fragrance industry who are seeking an experienced professional with a strong technical background in beverage product development.

In this role, you will lead the formulation and optimization of flavor systems for a wide range of beverages, supporting both internal innovation and customer-driven projects. You will work cross-functionally and mentor junior staff, while ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize beverage formulations across multiple categories
• Select and apply flavors based on project requirements
• Collaborate with internal teams for project execution
• Troubleshoot technical challenges and support scale-up activities
• Maintain accurate records and ensure regulatory/lab compliance
• Mentor and guide junior team members

Qualifications:

• Degree in Food Science, Chemistry, or related field
• Minimum 7 years’ relevant experience in beverage or flavor applications
• Expertise in beverage formulation and relevant analytical methods
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
• Familiarity with industry regulations and quality standards encouraged
