Sales Development Rep/SDR, Business Administration
Overview and Responsibilities
IHRE NEUE HERAUSFORDERUNG Responsible for the unrestrained information flow between Sales & Marketing, Business Development and customers, by supplying data reports and other market information. Maintaining the database by gathering information on promotions, pricing, customer requests, sales targets, promotional volumes, displays sold and other data. Forwarding samples by entering requests, arranging shipments and notifying customers. Preparing sales presentations, tracking sales expenses and financial information.
Reporting to the Commercial Controller. You will work closely with the Inside Sales team and the Finance team and take initiative in helping potential customers, answering questions, and identifying opportunities. You report to the Finance Manager and are part of a team of around ten colleagues.
You will be expected to work cross-functionally with colleagues in Sales, Business Development and Finance to support customers and optimize processes.
Typical Responsibilities (selected)- Calling customers to collect missing documents or information and actively following up on customer requests to accelerate onboarding
- Communicating with customers in a friendly, clear, and professional manner
- Identifying commercial opportunities and forwarding them to Inside or Field Sales
- Contributing to high customer satisfaction by thinking proactively and solving problems
- Recording contact moments and actions in our systems
- Collaborating with Finance, Inside Sales, and Field Sales to provide optimal customer support
- BSc degree in Business Administration, Sales or related field
- Experience in a sales support role, preferably in an FMCG company
- Experience with internal sales administration processes, data entry and understanding of customers
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English;
German is preferred - Personal profile: hands-on, detail-oriented, highly organized, customer-focused, improvement-oriented
