Position Description

The Motus Business Development group is looking for a customer-focused sales professional to join the team as a Mid-Market Account Manager (MMAM). The MMAM will own a book of business with a contract value expected to range between $30k and $150k (ARR). In this role, you will be responsible for exponential revenue growth in the entire book of business, driving revenue through renewals, upsells, and account growth.

Our ideal candidate has a shown history of exceeding revenue targets with diverse stakeholders, outstanding organization and influencing skills, and a high level of personal accountability and independence.

Position Duties
  • Exponentially grow revenue base for your book of business by managing account retention, expansion, and renewal, and by driving upsells for new products
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for a book of business and continually delight customers with a positive, customer-centric attitude
  • Consult with customers on new features and product offerings to drive upsell revenue
  • Develop relationships with customers and serve as their strategic partner
  • Provide education and coaching to drive product adoption and maximize product value for customers
  • Identify successful customers and turn them into advocates, measured by participation in reference calls, case studies, webinars, and events
  • Serve as a customer advocate while capturing customer feedback and reporting requests to Product and Engineering
  • Develop and share best practices with team members to continually improve the quality, effectiveness, and efficiency of our processes
  • Think creatively to solve customer problems
Desired Skills & Experience
  • 1-3 years experience in a customer-facing, quota-carrying role such as Account Executive or Account Manager. Primary responsibility is exponential growth of revenue in the customer base
  • Strong and strategic collaborator with the ability to discern when to engage team members in the development of solutions and when to take accountability and work independently
  • High degree of emotional intelligence and empathy
  • Exceptional communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability and desire to work and excel in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent multi-tasking, organizational, and project management skills; high attention to detail
  • Ability to understand and articulate technical concepts and derive solutions
  • Proficiency in MS Office and
Compensation and Benefits

Where required by law, Motus provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The base pay for this role is $85,000. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position is also eligible for incentive compensation based on individual performance. This position is eligible for company benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance with an employer contribution, flexible spending or health savings account, life and AD&D insurance, short- and long-term disability coverage, paid time off, employee assistance, participation in a 401k program with company match, and additional voluntary or legally required benefits.
